At Urban Energy Medicine, we are providing Reiki Treatments and using Energy work to assist individuals experiencing physical, mental/emotional and spiritual issues. Geoffrey Cayen, B.Psy., B.Ed., M.Ed.
An elementary teacher in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, Geoff has always had a curiosity in healing oneself and others. Over the past 20 years, he has studied as an apprentice of shamanism, bio-energetics and healing with a South American shaman. He also studied Integration and Synthesis of Universal Lifeforce (ISUL) meditation as well as Iyengar Yoga. Geoff has an appreciation for natural health, homeopathy, Dances of Universal Peace, Kundalini Yoga, pranayama (breathing awareness) as well as active and passive meditation. He has participated in various workshops and developmental groups which include herbal walks, ear candling, body painting, kinesiology, acupressure, Feng Shui, Sacred drumming and in an intuition development program. Geoffrey completed his Reiki Ascended Master certification (up to level 21). In addition, he has also obtained the following training and certification: 5th Dimensional Consciousness - Level I and II, Reiki and Crystals - Level I and the Shamanik Reiki -Level 1. Geoffrey's goal is to further expand his knowledge and skills to assist and empower others in their own healing journeys.

Gabriel Bergeron, B.Sc.N., B.Ed., LL.M.
Gabriel became interested in energy work during his training as a registered nurse where he learned, through use, the positive effects of Therapeutic Touch. While completing his degree in nursing, he was initiated to alternative medicine therapies such as reflexology and other non invasive techniques. It is around 2000 that he became more active and involved with energy work. Certified in organization development with the NTL Institute in Washington DC, he received training in using energy to assist groups, teams and individuals to improve their work performance. Gabriel has used his skills to make a difference in the corporate world. Since 2010, Gabriel has expanded his knowledge and skills though training that lead to his Reiki Ascended Master certification (up to level 21). In addition, Gabriel has completed the following training and certification: 5th Dimensional Consciousness - Level I and II, Reiki and Crystals - Level 1, Sonia Choquette's SixSensory Practitioner's Certification Program - Level 1 and Shamanic Reiki - level 1 training. His goal is to continue helping groups and people increase their vibration to improve their physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. Gabriel is also trained as a mediator and is currently completing his certification in this area.
